Energy Magic users are called Mages or Casters and they use magic by using their bodies as Mediums through which their Magical Energy flows through. One very important aspect of Casters is that they are the only ones capable of Mastering a field of Magic.
Energy Magic is divided into four groups: Elemental, Defensive, Offensive, and Dimensional.
Each of the four groups has different types of Magic which a Mage can gain proficiency in until Mastering said type of Magic. Other than Beings such as Gods or Demon Knights, a Mage is only able to Master one type of Magic.

Elemental Magic is the most straightforward of Magic. It is the art of Manipulating the Elements of the world and manifest one's Energy in their form. Elemental Proficiencies are as follows:
Fire Magic: The ability to control Fire and Heat. At a Beginner Level spells are small such as Fire Blasts or Fire Balls. When Mastered, the Caster can turn their body into Fire itself.
Water Magic: The Ability to Control Water in any state. At Beginner Level spells are simple such as Water Blasts and Ice Spikes. When Mastered the Caster is able to control whole entire Seas and also transform their body into pure Ice.
Earth Magic: The Ability to control Earth and Plant Life. At Beginner Level spells are small such as Rock Fists and Rock Blasts. When Mastered the Caster can create Earthquakes and become Earth in any form.
Wind Magic: The Ability to control Wind. At a Beginner Level spells are weak such as a Wind Flurry or Wind Blasts. When Mastered the Caster can summon Hurricanes and Tornadoes as well as transform their body into Air.
Thunder Magic: The Ability to control Thunder and Lightning. At Beginner Level spells are small such as Lightning Hold or Thunder Blasts. When Mastered the Caster can summon up Lightning Storms and turn into Lightning itself.
Darkness Magic: The ability to control Energy in its Dark form, effects are debilitating and the equivalent of Poison. At Beginner Levels the Spells are weak such as Dark Blasts and Dark Pillar. When Mastered the Caster can become Darkness Miasma and inflict poisoning damage on an opponent from far away.
Light Magic: the Ability to control Energy in its Light form acts as a bane for Dark Creatures such as Dhampir and Demons. At Beginning Levels the spells are weak such as Light Blasts and Light Pillar. When Mastered the User can radiate Light itself at all times.

Defensive Magic is the use of Magical Energy as a way to keep the Caster out of harm's way or to protect them if harmed. It has two proficiencies:
Healing Magic: The ability to Heal themselves and the people around them. At Beginning Levels the Caster can only heal minor and superficial Wounds. When Mastered the Caster can bring people back from the dead regardless of how long they have been dead for.
Barrier Magic: The Ability to create Magical Barriers to block attacks that are both physical and Magical in nature. At Low levels the Caster can only summon small Barriers and has to stand still to keep them up. When Mastered the Caster has a permanent barrier around their body and can create Barriers big enough to cover entire cities.

Offensive Magic is used to enhance one's self in order to inflict the most damage on a foe. Its proficiencies are as follows:
Projectile Magic: The ability to create pure magic projectiles and Beams as well as delayed explosive Energy Bombs. At Low levels the spells are in sort bursts and with barely any strength behind them. When Mastered the Caster can set off Blasts and Beams with the strength equal to an Atomic Bomb.
Augmenting Magic: It is the ability to strengthen one's self and those around them. At low levels it can only raise strength, speed and Energy by half. When Mastered the Caster can give those around them powers that are unlimited in capacity, making them almost superhuman.
Agility Magic: Similar to Augmenting Magic but dedicated to only one specific trait, it is more often than not used as a support proficiency. The Caster can choose Strength, Speed, and Energy as their trait. At Low levels the trait is only slightly enhanced. When Mastered the Caster can raise their levels almost limitlessly.

Dimensional Magic is the twisting of the world around the Caster and manipulating it as they see fit. It is by far the hardest of the Energy Magic groups to gain proficiency in, therefore very rarely is Mastering able to be reached. Its proficiencies are as follows:
Shadows Magic: The manipulation of sight and mind. At Beginning Levels the Caster can disguise themselves and even disappear of near a shaded area. When Mastered the Caster is able to control the minds of those around them without effort as well as becoming fully invisible.
Teleportation Magic: The ability to instantly transport one's self or those around them to a different point in the material plane they are on. At Beginning Levels the Caster can only teleport small objects and small animals. At Mastered Level the Caster can teleport over any distance they wish as well as anything else they teleport, some are said to be able to teleport through Dimensions themselves.
Time Magic: The ability to control and bend time at will. At Beginner Levels the Caster vainly accelerate or go back a few seconds, they can also affect the aging of non-sentient items. When Mastered the Caster can control time freely and without any limits or consequences, in the history of Strophya only one person has gained Mastery over Time Magic, he is still missing.
