Name: Tyrion Crestclaw
Age: 23
Race: Beastfolk
Gender: Male
Class: Fighter
Appearance:
Skills:
Swordsmanship: For the moment he could swing one Tyrion has wielded a sword in hand, practicing each and everyday relentlessly, only stopping when exhaustion demanded he rest. His mother would joke that Tyrion even slept with steel in hand, which was partially true, for Tyrion would not sleep without a dagger beneath his pillow. Though Tyrion is still young and unblooded, it would be hard not to see the raw talent he has with any sort of blade.
First Aid: With his mother being a healer it’s little surprise that Tyrion picked up on some of her talents. Tyrion knows how to set bone, stitch and bandage wounds, and perform very minor surgeries as well as mix poultices and healing pastes of intermediate strengths.
Herbology: Another thing Tyrion learned from his mother. Tyrion is able to identify a moderate range of plants and fungus, mostly those locally found in the Shashallah Desert, but also is able to identify plants further abroad. The majority of Tyrion’s knowledge in herbology is plants that deal with curing and/or causing poison, a common problem in Shashallah due to the prevalence of assassins, thieves and spies, all who favour a poison tipped blade to do their grim work.
Cooking: A self-taught skill Tyrion loves to cook, if it weren’t for his dedication to the sword and being a mercenary, Tyrion would be a chef. He longs to eat and try new foods and then learn to cook the ones he likes the most. This love started from his mothers inability to cook, despite her knowledge of healing and herbs Tyrion’s mother was useless in the kitchen, so often more than not Tyrion would take over cooking after he was done training for the day.
Personality: Tyrion is a passionate person who takes absolute pride in three things: his swordsmanship and his mother and father, insulting any of those is the quickest way to spark Tyrion to anger. Though despite his passion Tyrion is rather laid back in social situations, preferring to sit back and observe, speaking when spoken to and contributing to conversations when he can.
History:
Tyrion was born in a small tribal village in the Shashallah Desert, his mother was the village healer and is father was Grawn Crestclaw, commander of the Shashallan Bengals Mercenary Outfit. Due to this Tyrion rarely saw his father, though once a year Grawn would make sure to spend a single fortnight with Tyrion and his mother. Grawn was a hard man, born and bred for battle, but he was not unkind, he had a deep love for Tyrion’s mother and treated her gently, though he barely acknowledged Tyrion, only telling him to grow strong and learn the sword.
When Tyrion grew older and got better at the sword his father began to take more notice of him going so far as to spar with him. Yet when Tyrion turned 18 Grawn stopped visiting without word of warning, this would happen again for another two years. Tyrion and his mother grew worried so on his 21st birthday Tyrion set out to find what information he could find on the fate of his father, completely confident that he was still alive somewhere.
